Capital One 360 Online Accounts

For a little while now I have been thinking of letting you all in on my dirty little secret...

I love Planning, I love Budgeting, I love Saving!

It's almost shameful how much I like it.  A few months back I created a budget worksheet in excel and I was so excited about it I talked to my husband about it for a week non-stop.  Kind of gross huh!?

But what I really want to tell you about is Captial One 360.

I set up accounts with them a few months ago and I am absolutely in LOVE!

Here is what I LOVE about it:

• Interest rates are GREAT for a savings account 0.75%

• Though they are online only accounts, I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes to talk to a customer service representative, and they are always WAY more friendly than any other customer service rep and easy to understand ;)

• Once you set up your intial account, you can open up to 25 accounts in minutes!

Here is a snap shot of my accounts.  I love that I can set up an account for all of the important things in life.  And for the smaller things we are saving up for too.

The "Hay Horses and Tack" for example.  We have horses, and now instead of taking a big hit twice a year when we buy hay.  We can save some each month and have it there when it is time to buy hay.

We also created the "New Truck" account and "Vacation" account. Nothing that we will need right now, but that way we can put a small amount in those accounts each month and when we are ready for a vacation or need to replace our truck we will have some money designated for those things.  

Yep I get pretty excited about this!

And then we created accounts for some of the things we want to save up to do around our house.  Like "Remodel the Bathroom" and put in a "New Fence".

I love having the money for projects seperately designated so we can easily set a benchmark for how much we need for a project and know when we have hit it.
