Craft Fair/Boutique Booth Set-up

I thought since it is craft fair season I would share my booth set up with you.

Our home is about 100 years old, and when we moved in, one of the sheds had a stack of a whole bunch of old doors from the house!  SCORE!  I thought that would be a cool back drop for craft fairs!

This is what it looked like the first craft fair I used them at.  I hoped that the doors would attract a lot of traffic into my booth, but it didn't bring as much as I hoped it would.

Here is how we got the doors to stand up.  Along the base there are 2x6's. They have holes drilled in them.  The doors also have holes drilled in the bottom, and we use dowels to match them together.

At the top between each door there is one of these hooks. And that is enough to hold them stable.

After being disappointed with how little attention the doors got, I spent a little time looking at the first picture and trying to decide what I could do to make my booth space look better.  I decided I should paint the doors bright colors!

Some of the doors were in pretty rough shape, but nothing a little sanding couldn't fix.

I love them SO MUCH more now!

Now I just need to work on the rest of my booth!
