Bridal Shower Invitation

As I have mentioned here and here, my little sister is getting MARRIED!  Here is the invitation I made for her upcoming bridal shower.

I printed out the invite and her name on white cardstock.  Then I cut out around her name.  I used the Cricut cartridge Accent Essentials to cut out the "fancy" shape I glued her name to.  For the bunting I cut a scrap piece of paper to a long strip and then just cut back and forth to get triangles.

I put it all together with a glue stick. It definately took some time, but that's ok.  I set up my card table and put them together while I watched Once Upon a Time and Revenge!
I just used whatever paper I had on hand so there were a few different colors of blue the invitations got matted on.  I think they all turned out pretty darn cute!

  1. I like the different shades of blue for the frame/background. I design around what I have on hand A LOT! Almost 5 years after getting married, I am still trying to use up the caribbean blue envelopes I ordered for reception invitations!
