DIY Glitter Mason Jar Centerpieces

You have seen the invitations I made for Jenna's shower.  These glitter mason jars are what I used for centerpieces at the shower!  And they were so easy to make!

Come Visit my new site!  I have updated tutorials and you can shop my items!

The day I made them, I set everything out so that when my son went down for his nap I would be able to get them done.  Well they literally only took me 10 minutes to make, so then I had 2 hours til he woke up to have some me time!

All you need is mason jars, pledge floor care, and glitter.

Pour some floor care in the mason jar and swirl it around getting every part of the jar.  Then dump the extra into a bowl.  Do the same with your glitter.  Then I would just dump what was in the bowl into the next jar.  You can see why I laid out a towel AND paper towels.  I tend to make a mess and this project was no exception :)

Let them dry.  And you are done.  Easy Peasy!

I used these as decoration at my little sister's bridal shower.  Click here to see the entire post about her Bridal Shower.

    2. Out of curiosity, how long does it take the pledge and glitter to dry completely? Can I fill a completed jar with water?

    3. I just let mine sit out over night and they were dry. I didn't try filling them with water but I am fairly sure it would wash the glitter away :(

  17. It makes it look like a jar full of glitter. A great way to get that effect with less glitter. Cool!

    1. I just put fake flowers in it. I think that if you put water in it would slowly wash the glitter off. But maybe you could find a cup that would fit inside the jar and fill it with water.
