Do you remember Grandma Lottie's Chicken Fruit Salad?
Well she is also famous for always making these Oh Henry Bars!
1 cup Sugar
1 cup peanut butter
3 cups Rice Krispies
1 cup Corn Syrup
1 cup Salted Nuts
1 1/2 Pkg Chocolate Chips
Bring Sugar and Corn Syrup to boil.
Remove from heat. Stir in Peanut butter and nuts, then Rice Krispies. Spread it out on a cookie sheet.
If you are a little bit OCD like me you are going to want it all even, but this stuff is pretty sticky and trust me it is not worth the time it will take to get it totally even. So do your best and call it good!
If you do the prior step fast enough it will still be hot and you can just dump your chocolate chips on top and they will melt on their own. I am never fast enough so i turn my oven on to 350. But don't let it preheat just throw this in as soon as you turn it on. With in about 3 minutes the chocolate will be melt enough that you can spread it.
Spread your chocolate. Let it cool. And you are done!
