Feature Friday ~ Wall Cabinet from a Drawer and Shutters

CHECK THIS OUT!
Tania over at T.C's Designs made this awesome wall cabinet.
Wait look closer ... she made it out of an old drawer she snagged for FREE!
You can not tell me this isn't awesome!

She picked up the shutters at a garage sale, and they just happened to be the perfect dimensions!  Does anyone else ever get that lucky!?  Because I sure don't!

You NEED to go check out her tuorial for this!  Give her some comment love while you are there because she deserves it.  And don't forget to check out the rest of her blog while you are there!

Organize Your Junk Drawer

Lately I have really been feeling the need to get some spaces in my house organized.  I decided to start with the junk drawer.

As you can see it needed it!

I cleaned everything out and tossed the things we didn't need, set aside the things that should be somewhere else, and grouped everything that should stay.

There were seriously like 6 lighters in there (half of which didn't work).  And probably 5 flashlights! So I weeded out the ones we would never use and just kept two of each.

Earlier that day I was cleaning up my sons room.  I just about threw away some shoe boxes from new shoes we had just bought him.  But then I realized they were perfect for that afternoon's project!

I also used some of my small tupperware.  I have tons of these little ones that I use for our lunch boxes and to serve food to my son.  So I figured I could spare a few.

It looks so much better now!  I hope it stays like this!

I hope this has inspired you to tackle your junk drawer!
