I LOVE this salad! Whenever I am asked to bring a green salad to a party I almost ALWAYS bring this!
Salad:
1 small head lettuce shredded
Diced Celery
Green Onions, Chopped
After Dressing:
Frozen Peas, Thawed
Chopped Olives
Grated Cheese
Real Bacon Pieces
Tomatoes
Shred the lettuce and put it in a bowl. Then add celery and green onions. I always forget and try to toss them together, DON'T! The celery and onions just go straight to the bottom. Just try to evenly sprinkle them on top of the lettuce.
Dressing:
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 Tbl Sugar
1 1/2 cup sour cream
1 tsp salt
Spread the dressing on-top of the lettuce.
Then add your other toppings!
The earliest you want to make this salad is the morning of, because after a day it has quite a bit of water at the bottom. It still taste REALLY good though the second day it just doesn't look as pretty!
