With a lot of time and a little bit of love, I made this SUPER CUTE garland.
Here's how:
I picked up little wooden hearts at Michaels, got some pink paper from my stash, and jute.
Because each heart was just slightly different I traced them all individually to get a great fit. I used Mod Podge to put the scrapbook paper on the hearts and added a thin layer over top.
Next I measured the shelf I would be hanging it on to see how long I would want it, then cut my piece of jute and spaced the hearts evenly.
I put a little glue on each heart, placed the jute on the glue, then added some glue on top of it.
I tried think of something I could use to press down on the glue and a dime is what I came up with. I found that about 5 seconds was the right time to leave it on there. Too soon or too long and it wouldn't work right.
P.S. If you like this Media Console pictured above you can view the tutorial of how I built it (with plans) here!
