This past weekend there was a craft fair in my town. I have been doing lots of projects to get ready for it. I have a bunch of old windows that I wanted to do something really cute with them, but haven't been able to decide what to do. So I kept putting them off.
Finally the day before the craft fair I decided I would just add a wreath. On my lunch break I went to Hobby Lobby hoping I would get lucky and they would have one of those cute little wreaths with berries on it. But they didn't. All they had was the plain wreaths. I just bought some berry twigs (I guess you would call them), and the plain wreath.
Sorry I don't have any picture tutorials. That night was the town rodeo, so I put these together while I sat and watched it.
I just used wire pliers to snip the berry twigs, and then just shoved them into the wreath. I was happy with how they turned out.
Here is one of the windows. This one actually came out of our house when we remodeled the nursery and the rest of our upstairs.
To put the wreath on the window, I just put a screw in the center across the top and then tied jute around the screw and the wreath.
After all that work and scrambling to get things done, it was a bummer that this craft fair got rained out soon after it started. So we didn't have much time to sell stuff. This window and a bunch of other things are now in my shop!
